Dr. Burton has done miracles for me and my family. When I first came in to the Doctor I had a great deal of pain in my upper back, joints and muscles. I had been formerly diagnosed as having Fibromyalgia. I was put on anti-inflammatory drugs which were causing stomach discomfort and was I was informed that there was nothing else that could be done.

At that time if I would look over my shoulder I would be in pain for days. My left shoulder was constantly tingling and numb. My facial muscles were in spasms, my neck in constant pain and I could not use my arms in front of me or over my head. I would suffer the worst when the weather would change. But I think the worse was the fatigue. I was dragging myself through each day.

After just 3 months of treatment I am virtually symptom free. But that’s not all!!!

My oldest son is 15 and has suffered from birth with yearly setbacks of asthmatic bronchitis. This would involve yearly hospital stays and at lease a month from school. The past November he started on a Monday with symptoms which would usually have him on antibiotics, etc. within a couple of days. Dr. Burton was able to diagnose a fungus causing his problems and with treatment, the following week he was at the youth fair.

I can’t praise this man’s practice enough. I came in a skeptic and consider his our family physician. From past experiences I had lost all trust in Doctors, but I trust Dr. Burton completely and recommend him to everyone!!!!!

I started chiropractic care in January, 1996.

I have Fibromyalgia, also know as myofacial syndrome. This is major, constant, continuous pain in the muscles and fibers. This problem started in January 1987 and continued.

I cannot count the number of Doctors I’ve seen about this condition. Too numerous to count. I have been disabled from work almost 3 years. About one month after starting chiropractic care with Dr. Burton I started to observe marked improvement in my physical activities and my attitudes.

I believe that chiropractic care has improved my life and I hope to be able to return to work in August.

What makes an EXCEPTIONAL Doctor? The type of person that does not treat you as a symptom, but as a living, breathing human-being. The person I am describing is a man named Dr. Bernard Burton.

My name is A.W. and I started seeking care from Dr. Burton somewhere in May of 1997. I had sustained a Workmen’s Comp injury in December of 1996 and I was in a lot of pain. Prior to my visit both the Doctor (Orthopedist) and I felt that I was not improving and could not understand why after months of treatment that I was not getting better. He released me from his care. I came across Dr. Burton’s name in the Yellow Pages. After calling many other Chiropractors I settled on going to him. The main reason for choosing him was due to the warm response on the phone as well as he took time to put some of my fears to rest. Not common in most other Physicians. The Doctor gave me a full comprehensive exam and fitted the treatment plan according to my needs as well as my symptoms.

Over the course of time I sustained yet another injury due to an auto accident back in July of 1997. The norm would be to go seek out your Family Physician or an ER Doctor. However in the remarkable way that he had treated my prior injury I chose to call Dr. Burton. Dr. Burton ordered an MRI to confirm what he felt was a moderate to severe neck injury. The MRI confirmed his suspicions and he used stim and ultrasound to relax the area. Dr. Burton then did mild adjustment and Acupuncture to the neck and the surrounding area only after the initial inflammation had subsided. In his treatment he has also fixed the headaches and lower back pain that I have experienced over the course of time.

Recently I came to Dr. Burton with the very uncomfortable feeling of not being able to breathe. I am an asthmatic and would normally require an inhaler. Dr. Burton explained to me that sometimes a series of adjustments might relieve the problem in many cases. After going to the ER the day before and being misdiagnosed, for all intents and purposes, I let Dr. Burton give it a try. I walked out of is office 100 percent better.

I could go on and on abut what a wonderful Doctor this man is. I have not attained full recovery at this point but for all the skeptics out there that have reservations about alternative medicine and the Doctors that practice it, I say just make that phone call, 327-8090, and experience the difference that Dr. Burton can make in your life.

Dear Dr. Burton,

I am writing to thank you for all you have done for my daughter Rebecca. When we came into your office on December 18, 1997, I really didn’t have much hope that anything could be done to help my daughter. After all, as a daughter of a medical doctor I felt if a physician couldn’t fix it, it couldn’t be fixed. That week in December my daughter was once again sick. She had been on maintenance antibiotics and a variety of other drugs. She had a headache so blinding that she could not hold her head up. This had gone on for 4 days. That week she had already been to her pediatrician, the ENT specialist and an infectious disease doctor who checked her immune system. The symptoms were real, and no one knew what to do. After 4 days of running from doctor to doctor with a 14 year old who was too sick to hold up her head I was told about you. We talked that night and made an appointment for the next day. That day was a turning point for my daughter. We walked into your office and three hours later when we walked out, Rebecca felt all better. That night she went to a friends house to get her notes for the week, studied for her weekly test and went to school the next day to take it. It was the amazing experience I have ever seen. I know it sounds corny, but if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I never would have believed it.

Let me backtrack just a bit. My daughter, who is now 14, has suffered from major allergy problems since she was 3 years old. These allergy problems always lead to secondary infections such as tonsillitis, ear infections and in the last 3 years, sinusitis. She has never been off antibiotics longer than 3 weeks at a time most of her life. Our life consisted mostly of allergy shots and trips to the doctor and of course antibiotics, decongestants, and nasal sprays of every type. The only problem was that as soon as she was off the antibiotics within a week to two her school work, and our daily lives. Friends, teachers and business associates, constant comment to me was, “she’s sick again?” It was almost embarrassing.

Then, Dr. Burton, we were told about you, and your approach to the total person through all the techniques that you use. When I say you have changed out lives, I sincerely mean it. Rebecca’s only visits to a doctor since December have been to you. She feels better than she ever has. She hasn’t missed any school. She even got a cold a few weeks ago and remained just that, a cold. She hasn’t taken any medications including her allergy shots since December. What astonished me most was that, a cold.
